Today I have the Tamron 28-300mm VC lens on my Nikon D300 camera look. The update is only for VC Canon and Nikon users. The Vibration Compensation (VC) function is well worth the money I paid for it.
This article presents a brief overview of the Tamron 28-300mm VC.
I found the optical quality of the lens is too great, so I tried with both full frame (Nikon D700) and cropped sensor (Nikon D300). To my surprise, the photos came out very strong on both cameras. Anormal observer, the image quality of the lens than a professional goal. The super-zoom was perfect on my full frame camera.
However, I found the zoom length is a bit 'embarrassing to be adapted to a camera sensor. If you want a better deal, look at the Tamron 18-270mm VC. This lens will give you a better zoom range for a digital SLR designed a sensor. Although the 18-270mm VC has a better range, I found the optical quality of the lens', less pronounced than the Tamron28-300mm VC.
If you like the Tamron 28-300mm VC post, I am a bit 'surprised that this goal is a mechanism for rapid and accurate auto-focus. Here's a suggestion of auto focus is as follows: In low light conditions change to manual focus. This prevents you from hunting autofocus (because of the small aperture of the lens').
In terms of sharpness, I found the border from the middle and excellent sharpness. The distortion is minimal.
Another very useful feature is the zoom lock mechanism. I'm not afraid of zoom creep, in particularWhen you move the lens. The aim is also very light, making it very easy to handle.
As a final thought for this Tamron 28-300mm VC lens I rate this review as a proposal for a great value, ideal for non-professional use and travel.
I do not recommend this for professional use, since the low opening speed makes it impractical for use in many situations, professional photography. In addition, it makes sense to use this lens for extreme weather conditions.
